Through an LSCA Title I Grant, the Roseville Public Library acquired 876
reels of Soundex microfilm. This collection contains the Soundex
microfilms for ALL the Federal Population schedules for Michigan, for
which a Soundex was created. These include the 1880 (73 reels), 1900
(259 reels), 1910 (253 reels), and 1920 (291 reels) Censuses. If your
ancestors were in Michigan for any of these Census years, the Soundex
will help you locate them on the Census microfilm.

Erin Township Records
Ledgers and journals from Erin Township that are currently held at
various cities within the former Erin Township jurisdiction. The
books were microfilmed by the Erin Township Records Project Committee
(composed of members from the Fraser Historical Commission, East
Detroit Historical Society, Roseville Historical and Genealogical
Society, and the St. Clair Shores Historical Society) with the aid of
federal grants and matching monies from the cities involved. Names from
the books were indexed and are contained in the above database.
